Dortmund had a great run to the Champions League quarter finals and will be pleased with their 3-1 win over Barcelona on Wednesday in what was a fruitless cause, chasing a 4-0 first leg defeat. They have re-found some Bundesliga form post the international break, something that we spoke about ahead of the games with the Catalan giants and they have scored 9 in their last three league outings ( 7 points) and all three games versus teams above them in the table. They meet another today in BMG who have had a decent campaign and served us well enough, but who have just gone off the boil and have been hit and miss for the last two months ....

We can never be quite sure which BMG will turn up and it seems more likely that the best version of Dortmund will and this game is huge for the hosts if they are to make a run at the European spots and end this campaign on a high. The same is true of BMG of course and as you can see, they road form has been decent, but Dortmund has been their nemesis for many, many seasons and the last ten h2h meetings in this stadium have ended 10-0-0 with 45 goals scored.
