We have seen four head coaches/managers depart in Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Mauricio Pochettino (Chelsea) , Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton) and David Moyes (West Ham United). Klopp has already been replaced by Arne Slot and Moyes by Julen Lopetegui. It looks very likely that at least two or three other coaches will also depart/ job switch in the next couple of weeks, or even days and these must be record numbers for this stage of the off season.

Make up of the league will have an odd geographical look, with just five clubs from the North of the country, the previous 20 seasons have seen at least six, with 18 campaigns having 7+ and, between 2007-08 and 2010-11, there were at least 10 and as many as 11.

In addition to the five Northern clubs, there will be four from the Midlands, three from the South, one from the East and seven from London

In 2008-09 there were 11 from the North, 5 from London , 3 from the Midlands and one from the South.

Despite this shift, 14 of the last 18 EPL titles, including the last seven, have gone to the North and they have taken the top 2 spots in 9 campaigns, so 50% of the time.

I can finish with the most important dates for the diary which are August 6-9, that is when clubgowi previews of all 20 EPL teams are released and sent to subscribers.

Good Luck!
