English League One
King Kevin ............500 not out.
May 03, 2014There will be a full house at Griffin Park today as Brentford wave goodbye to League 1, favourite son Kevin O'Connor who has not featured much in recent campaigns, will play today, his 500th start for the mighty Bees. That puts him 4th on the all time list and there is still life in the old dog yet ! He is actually only just 32 yo ,a rare one club man in modern football, a model professional and one hugely respected by fellow players and supporters alike.
League 1 betting preview : Carlisle United v Walsall
Apr 18, 2014United are are in the drop zone and have just one home game left after today to preserve their third tier status, road games at Peterborough, Crawley and Wolves, do not immediately appear to offer much, given the Blues away day woes and they have been decent at Brunton Park, since Christmas, beating three top 8 teams and taking a point from mighty Brentford . They have kept clean sheets in their last four home starts and get combative midfielder James Berrett ( 35-2-6) back from suspension today, but for them it is less about team news and more about their motivation to be playing League 1 football next season.

Dec 27, 2013League 1 betting preview: Bradford City-Leyton Orient
Dec 14, 2013The weekend ahead: Football League, NFL and Campeonato Brazil
Nov 15, 2013Fairly quiet week by clubgowi standards, but we are ahead heading into the weekend and on course (knock wood), to record our tenth winning week from the last eleven.
Just two selections today, but I am just finishing off my notes for what seems sure to be four Football League games tomorrow and we are also covering another 3-4 "in running". Sunday it will be all about Brazilian football and the NFL and in total, we should have previews for circa 14 matches/events much like the one for Mexico in the post below.
Football League 1: Brentford-Shrewsbury Town
Oct 25, 2013Only really Ligue 2 in this email (sent to subscribers this morning), but I will pass on a few words about the Brentford-Shrewsbury Town, League 1 match tomorrow, the Bees are not playing well at present, but have managed to pick up six points in the last week. Coming from 1-0 down early in the second half at home to defeat Colchester United 3-1 last weekend and winning at Bristol City, for whom nothing is going right, 2-1 in midweek.
